Pakistan has vast reserves of natural gas (32.5 trillion cubic feet as per recent official estimates),
a portion of which can be harnessed for the fuel consumption of vehicles. There are also recent discoveries of 5-7 trillion cubic feet at Zamzama, Blit, Sawan, Miano and Habib Rahi fields.
