After an extensive search on available sources, PCPL has selected equipment suppliers for its proposed fuel filling stations. The suppliers have been chosen for the quality of their CNG equipment (compressors, storage cascade and dispensing units, etc.), that is ISO 9001 certified, and their market reputation. Vendors were selected based on their experience and expertise in the supplying, installing, and maintaining of CNG equipment. The Government of Pakistan has cleared equipment for import.

The selection of Conversion Kits (petrol or diesel engines to CNG) and cylinders is made based on standards specified in the Rules issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources. Cylinders of Chromium Molybdenum and Manganese steel seamless tubes, imported under international standards and tested on 150 bar to 400 bar pressures, have been chosen.
