We at Petrosin believe that we do not operate in isolation but have responsibilities to our employees and the society in which we operate. In order to practice good global citizenship, we must engage in new relationships with a broad range of stakeholders ranging from customers, employees and shareowners to government agencies, corporations and multilaterals - in order to co-invent sustainable, mutually beneficial ways to conduct business all over the world. We intend to lead as an exemplary global citizen, by taking action in several areas:

• Our vision is to deliver value to our customers without compromising the health of the planet. We continuously strive to operate our facilities in a manner that is environmentally sound and conserving resources wherever possible.
• We encourage our employees to engage in communities across the globe. We seek to provide opportunities for them to apply their time and talent, in person or via the Net, to help solve problems.
• Petrosin Scholarship Programme, the aim of this programme is to encourage more young people to understand the opportunities that a geology, engineering or technology-based career can offer them. We have intentions of giving scholarships to students in every country we operate in.
• We would also like to set-up laboratories near our factories. These labs would be opened mainly for students to explore and have a ‘hands-on’ learning experience on how we operate, in order to gain their interest in the particular fields.
• In the near future, we are formulating plans for village adoption in countries where our businesses are located, and transforming the village into a Petrosin village by providing assistance towards health, infrastructure and education for the village.

Petrosin has realized that in these days, capital investment alone is not enough as a contribution, but information and communications technology infrastructure and solutions are also key factors in improving people's lives. Which is why, we have focused our contribution to the community in the educational area.
